Notes From the Artist:
Ooooh boy, this was a tough one. I spent almost a year making this record, and nearly drove myself insane with worry. I put an incredible amount of pressure on myself to make my first album stand out as an artistic statement, and it didn't come easily. I wanted something varied and different and I think that's what you get with this album. You get some light airy ambient, super low frequency drone, and even a track of nothing but treated guitar. "Requiem for Dead Spacemen" seems to resonate with people, and is generally considered the focal point on the album. My personal favorite however is "Redshift", and the song gives a general indication of where Broken Harbour was heading next.
